Cape Town Ready For British Visitors

After weeks of discussions and lobbying by SATSA (South African Tourism Services Association), Cape Town Tourism and other industry stakeholders, the country would breathe a collective sigh of relief as the UK officially took SA off the red list, allowing for local tourism operators to ramp up their plans as travelers from the UK immediately started looking into a summer holiday in Africa.

The United Kingdom has always been a key source market for South Africa, with Stats SA noting a total of 580 000 visitors from the UK travelled to South Africa in 2019 and 2020. These figures suggest British travelers and expats choose South Africa and, the very popular bucket-list destination Cape Town as their holiday place of choice.

With the lifting of restrictions coinciding with a coming boom in tourism, there is already a new energy in the city, and we expect a huge interest in property investment from our overseas buyers that will only grow further with the increase of visitors as the summer season begins to settle in.

On the rental side, we’ve had a significant spike in enquiries for Llandudno rentals and have very little stock to offer. Enquiries range from long term rentals requiring furnished to unfurnished options in the R45 000 – R90 000 price range, as well as holiday rentals.

Property owners can rest assured that we are extremely thorough with our screening and background checks! Please get in touch with Terry Mackenzie 082 572 0764 if you have a property you would like to rent out.

Best to all,

Margie, Clare, Fiona, Arlene, Terry, Alison & Jane
